Woodstone Market - Deli & made to order menu including pizza. Great place for breakfast and for picking up snacks, wine, a few basics. Kids menu and patio seating next to Bob Jones Trail.

Avila Beach Market - Tacos and grill style food, smoothies & acai bowl


Ocean Grill - Bit more formal with local offerings

 

Old Custom House - Local favorite for large portions and tasty casual food


Merseas - Out on the old Hartford Pier, casual offerings including fish tacos, fish & chips, and many more seaside favorites. If you have kids, they'll enjoy the seals that make the pier area their playground

                             

Blue Moon Over Avila - French Bistro with all the classics - steps from the sand.

 

Shell Beach


Kanpai - Really good Sushi & Japanese favorites. Order off the menu or ask Sushi Chef Jessica to surprise you

 

DePalo & Sons - Italian deli with imported, wine, homemade desserts, meals, groceries, and toiletries

 

Zorro’s Cafe & Cantina - Mexican classics and the best homemade salsa and chips, a really good option for breakfast too

 

Marisol at The Cliffs Resort - The patio at the Cliffs is a favorite place to watch the sunset and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine, a good cocktail, and California cuisine

 

Lido at Dolphin Bay Resort - One of the best cuisine experiences here on the central coast. If you're into food and wine, you'll enjoy this restaurant.

 

Sando’s Sandwiches - Surfer's secret, great sandwiches to go. A block from the beach, a solid choice for an impromptu picnic.

Shell Beach Brew House - Solid beer line up on tap and your favorite grill offerings.

Giuseppe's Express - Separate take out deli across the street from the original Giuseppe's on Price Street. Pizza by the slice or by order, salads, sandwiches, fresh pasta, gelato, and the best carrot cake you'll ever eat! We think it's the best pizza place

Oyster Loft - Fantastic seafood and wine all locally sourced


The Board Room - A sports bar with a great line up of beers. Light fair for eating. Play darts and hang with locals including the two local owners who work at the bar every day


Splash Cafe - The winner of the best clam chowder in SLO county.


Thai Talay - Authentic Thai favorites, vegetarian options and vegan availability.



San Luis Obispo (SLO)


The Rock / SLO Brew
- Local brewery with a fun family feel with really good food. Play games, sit outside by one of the fire pits, and enjoy a full lineup of local brew and wine.

Novo - The best patio dining in SLO - overlooking the beautiful SLO creek. Internationally inspired flavorful cuisine - never disappoints. Insider tip: the salmon bisque is the house specialty, and it is goodness!

 

Goshi - Oldest sushi restaurant in SLO - and still the best. Authentic Japanese offerings in a basic setting, they don't take reservations and they can get very busy especially Friday-Sunday.

 

Farmhouse Corner Market - Great for espresso and a pastry to go, or sit and order off the delicious menu for lunch.

 

Lincoln St Deli - This neighborhood market and deli is a SLO classic. Solid sandwiches and much more.

 

High Street Deli - You haven't had a sandwich until you've had a High St. Deli sandwich. Best to order online - it's a tiny place and is super congested during lunch.

 

Ziggy’s - All vegan fast food, take out only. It's REALLY good!

 

Thai Palace - Favorite Thai resto in SLO - vegan & vegetarian options available.

 

Buena Tavola - Authentic Northern Italian fare by a local Italian family.

 

SideCar - Inhouse mixologists create seasonal cocktail menus with unique spirits that are often locally sourced. The food is also really good and changes by season. Great atmosphere and service.
